Tutorial Sunil. Exploring ideas and concepts through photobashing.

Focused on how aliens might be altering buildings, blocking off windows, extending buildings for their own usage.

Explored what Aliens might be using/doing in buildings. London Pirate Radio in 80s could be an interesting idea to add in.

Looking at Pirate Radio history. A movement by mostly black immigrants to London who were unable to have the types of music they liked played on the radio, in a large part due to "white music" radio.

Similar themes to what I imagine a co-habiting Alien species would have to contend with.

Documentary about Black Music and Pirate Radio throughout London presented by ex Pirate Radio host/rapper Rodney P.

Internal Alterations

Not all things will be visible from the exterior. Will probably use internal shots in final project too, so thought into interiors are needed. This comes hand in hand with the motives/lifestyle of the Aliens. Do they sleep, drink, eat, socialise, sit? Are they hot/cold? Do they work?

Real world examples. There's been plenty of immigration throughout history, and religious/cultural differences have bred lots of internal changes to buildings.

Spitalfields in London is a good research target. It uses Architecturally interesting Georgian style residential terraced housing, but it's also seen several cultures/peoples move in and out of the area.

19 Princelet street is an interesting case of hidden internal changes, containing a hidden Synagogue.
